Jay Fuller – Retired – We Treat You Like Family
Jay became a partner at Fuller & Fuller when he was admitted to the bar in 1982. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puget Sound after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
Over the course of his legal career, he served as a Judge Pro Tem for Thurston and Mason counties. He was also the recipient of the Pro Bono Publico Award for representing individuals who could not afford legal representation.
Jay then worked full time on behalf of people with personal injury claims. He was a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) and the Washington State Bar Association, and was admitted in the Federal District Court for Western Washington. Jay was also admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar Association.
Community service is important to Jay. From 2002-2005, he served as chairman of the South Sound Y.M.C.A. Strong Kids fundraising campaign, and was the chairman of the South Sound Y.M.C.A. Child Care Committee. Jay also served on the Board of Trustees for the South Sound Y.M.C.A. and was awarded the South Sound Y.M.C.A. Volunteer of the Year for 1997, and Policy Volunteer of the Year for 2000.
Jay is married to Leonor, who was also an attorney with the firm. The couple have two sons, one of whom is also an attorney. Jay’s hobbies include travel, biking and music.
Jay is now retired from the practice of law.
